Brewery Rep (Multiple States)

We are looking to hire a Brewery Rep in the following areas at once:

Northern Virginia

North Carolina

In your role as Brewery Rep, you will be charged with increasing the sales of the finest beers in the Mid-Atlantic. This includes direct account responsibility for bars, restaurants, stores, securing new distribution, and working with our wholesaler network in an assigned territory to develop new and existing accounts.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
2 years selling or related experience Minimum-High School Diploma, Preferred: 2-4 year college degree

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and TRAINING, NEEDED TO PERFORM the JOB:

-Entry level sales skills
-Excellent verbal communication skills
-Basic written communication skills
-Above average organizational skills
-Willingness to learn State and Federal laws governing beer.
-Drivers license and good driving record
-Excellent decision making skills
-Some proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook

SPECIAL JOB OR ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

-Extensive car travel: average 20,000 miles annually
-Overnight travel: possible including occasional special events and sales meetings
-Weather: outside sales position
-Unusual / extensive hours: no set schedule; hours vary according to need, must be available nights and weekends
-Smoke: exposure to second hand smoke while promoting products in on-premise establishments
-Refrigeration: occasional exposure to refrigerated rooms
-Lifting and moving cases (~35 lbs.) and kegs (~165 lbs.) of product
-Driving long distances (up to 4 hours).
